AGU 2014 Session on Shale: Videos available!
The AGU session on 'Shale Science: Coupled Processes in Hydraulic Fracturation and CO2 Sequestration' organized by Bill Carey (LANL) with myself, Tom Dewers (SNL) and Qinhong Hu (University of Texas Arlington) was held in the busy Moscone Center of San Francisco on Monday, December 15th with 40 posters and talks. The afternoon oral sessions were live streamed and are now awailable as videos-on-demand here (session H13Q) and here (session H14D) (Registration required for access).
Some of the posters are also available online here (session H11H)
Thanks to all the authors for such great presentations! We had a wonderful representation of the current active field in the science of shales from lessons learned from hydrocarbon production to basic science in flow, transport, fracturation, fluid-rock interactions, to cutting-edge imaging, modeling and engineering techniques.
